Traffic Control Day 2019

Traffic Control Day 2019

It is a clichéd fact that IDEAS run and rule the world. Progress stands on the foundation of ideas and creativity. Societal advancement requires the presence of a formidable progress-oriented think tank. This is the kind of mentality that birthed the idea of TRAFFIC CONTROL DAY from the founder of The Feeders Foundation. As a traffic officer with over a decade of experience, Hunsu Ezekiel Olusegun has experienced the danger and economic impediment that heavy gridlock engenders, hence his desire is to see the participation of every citizen in the control of traffic through awareness creation and effective action. Traffic Control Day is a registered trademark of The Feeders Foundation.

Traffic Control Day?
The world over, it has been observed that there are usually Special Marshals who voluntarily engage in traffic control once in a while, especially during festive seasons. However, there has never been a general involvement of the traffic officers, stakeholders, volunteers, Special Marshals and celebrities in direct awareness campaign about traffic control and management. The impact this kind of awareness will have in the minds of people will be huge and the direct participation of the Government and celebrities in traffic control will boost the campaign against traffic violation and irresponsible acts on the road, all of which hinder free flow of traffic. Volunteers of The Feeders Foundation have been involved in this campaigns and are willing to do more in order to ensure that our societies keeps moving forward.
